Invisalign First is designed for Phase 1 treatment, typically for children between the ages of 6 and 10. This is the stage where they have a mix of baby and permanent teeth.
For the treatment to be effective, aligners should be worn for 20 to 22 hours a day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing.
Most children adapt very quickly. There might be a slight lisp for the first day or two, but as the tongue adjusts to the smooth aligners, speech typically returns to normal within 48 hours.

The goal of Phase 1 (Invisalign First & Expander) is to correct jaw issues and create space.
